The Preventative Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. Their primary responsibility will be to perform preventative maintenance tasks on both injection molding machines and various types of automated equipment, along with aiding in the setup and installation of new equipment.

Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on both injection molding machines and various types of automated equipment

Aid in the setup and installation of new equipment

Operate drill press, grinder, welding, and other maintenance equipment

Ability to use precision measuring equipment and electrical testing instruments

Ability to maintain computer-based machine repair and PM records system

Ability to lift 55 lbs.

Comply with OSHA and all safety practices in repair and installation

Ordering of replacement parts and supplies

Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition

High School Diploma or equivalent

Computer experience

A minimum of one-year degree in the Industrial Mechanic Program at CVTC or equivalent work experience and training
