Job Title: Turning Center MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Turning Center Machinist to set up and operate DMG MORI or Hitachi Seiki CNC turning centers. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC turning and the ability to produce high-quality precision parts.Responsibilities

Set up and operate DMG MORI or Hitachi Seiki CNC turning centers.

Occasionally modify existing programs at the machine using G code or DMG MORI programming software.

Regularly inspect tools and parts to ensure precision.

Communicate any delays, issues, or concerns to management.

Ensure measuring equipment is accurate by using the standard in the inspection room.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Previous experience in CNC turning.

Skillful at producing quality parts with tight tolerances.

Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints.

Proficient in reading and modifying CNC programs.

Ability to solve problems using critical thinking skills.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively in a team setting.

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.

Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

CNC machining center experience is a plus.
