It is focused on developing, managing, and maintaining key learning experiences. This may include early to intermediate career, technical training, and job-specific training.Examples of duties and responsibilities:
Serves as Lead for critical training programs within electrical engineering
Partner with the business on ongoing training needs
Partner with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) across various EE groups to lead the design and deployment of training solutions based on business needs
Relentlessly improve existing training solutions.
Partner with the Learning COE( Center of Excellence) to track and evaluate programs and courses
Leads needs analyses for key audiences across Engineering
Manage learning plans and content in the Learning Management System
Stay up to date on knowledge related to designated audience and learning & development.
Role level requires the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:Knowledge & ApplicationDevelops professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Determines a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required.Complexity & Problem SolvingWorks on problems of moderate scope which are often varied and routine where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Applies learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problems. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.Collaboration & InteractionBuilds productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions . The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
3-5 years' experience in training, business, or relevant
Preferred to have experience working in or with functions like engineering, manufacturing, operations or be effective in learning/asking questions about the business to support building the needs associated to the function and speak in terms of the business.
Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, attention to detail and conflict-resolution skills.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience using a content management system (i.e. CRM, Wrike, Learning Management System)
Preferred to have experience in facilitation through training or within prior work experience
