Seeking a full-time Civil Design Engineer (EIT required, at minimum)! Join our team of professionals that work closely together to achieve exceptional project design solutions for our clients. General Responsibilities:
Develop plans to include details and specifications suitable for submittal of permit applications (post-construction stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, land development and NPDES).
Produce designs/calculations, complete plans and permit applications and coordinate with reviewing agencies.
Assist the project director by providing project management and engineering support throughout the proposal, design, permitting and construction phases for the development of athletic facilities.
Perform construction administration and field observations during construction projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required
Experience/working knowledge of basic design principles for grading, calculation of slopes & grades, and site construction materials and methods
Training and/or work experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
Ability to meet project and task deadlines as established by the project director
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An understanding of, and experience with, the municipal land development and NPDES permitting process
