Growing company in Appleton is adding to their installation team! We're seeking a detailed, responsible individual who can assist with installation of commercial/residential shading products. This position will weld framework together and install shade solutions at various stages for our customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Safely operate MIG/TIG welders.

Safely operate company vehicles and equipment (including trailer attached to truck).

Safely operate machinery including, but not limited to, powered saws, powered drills, powered impacts, powered stapler, grinders, and saws.

Safely operate manual hand tools including, but not limited to, scissors, hammer, hand press, hand clamps, caulk gun, screw drivers, vice, files, wrenches, tape measure, square.

Safely operate various types of equipment to move material and orders including hand pallet jacks, hydraulic lift, carts and dolly. Forklift experience is helpful, but not required.

Plan project layout and procedures by reading blueprints, drawings, and/or taking measurements.

Follow prints and written instructions with excellent attention to detail.

Safely handle metal and various types of material components throughout the various processes of production.

Meet deadlines by working with the team to ensure products are made correctly and meet quality standards set by the company.

Monitor material inventory and place order requests as needed to ensure an efficient production workflow.

Maintains a clean and organized work area with safety being a priority.

Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.

Safely use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts for working at elevated heights.

Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Excellent attention to detail and quality control.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, orders.

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fraction to decimal conversion with provided conversion chart. Basic knowledge of geometry and geometric calculations preferred.

Read a tape measure in feet and inches to 1/8”.

Ability to work overhead for periods of time during each shift.

Ability to work at elevated heights, utilizing proper safety equipment and harnessing if required.

Ability to properly lift objects weighing 50lbs unassisted on a regular basis and up to 100lbs (with assistance) from floor to work surface height and/or shelving of varying heights then returning to original storage place.

Ability to manipulate materials over frameworks in varying three dimensional configurations.

Ability to safely use rigging and/or lift equipment.

Clean driving record.
