Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Perform any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
Organizes parts and subassemblies for efficient assembly process.
Operates any equipment needed to perform the job including cranes, forklifts, or basic power tools.
Check parts for proper fit, cracks, loose connections, faulty bonds, and faulty assembly.
Tests and inspects finished product to ensure conformance to manufacturing specifications and correct any defects.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component/product.
Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling power equipment, hydraulic assemblies, and metal assembly.
Assist team members in other areas if needed to meet daily production goals.
Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements (Training Available)
Conduct Product Audits to ensure all products are being manufactured per design intent.
Identify and process non-conforming material.
Raise awareness by posting Quality Alerts.
Ability to diagnose and correct issues arising in units from production builds
Perform other production tasks as required
