General Summary:
Under supervision, loads and unloads materials from customer vehicles, trucks, and sorts into appropriate areas.
Uses mechanized equipment to sort and/or bale.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operates equipment to process materials.
Operates vertical and horizontal balers.
Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
Requirements:
Wears all necessary personal protective equipment when working in the yard.
Follows company safety standards at all times.
Able to work outside.
Able to work in heat, cold, rain, snow, etc. as required.
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Must be able to interact with customers and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.
Prior experience operating balers preferred but not required as we will train candidates.
Some mechanical aptitude necessary and will use hand tools for minor repairs.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and 100+ lbs on 2-person lift.
