The experienced Tree Cutter is responsible for proficiently and safely operating equipment to fell, trim, and remove trees. Duties include conducting pre-operational checks, operating chainsaws and other cutting tools, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to efficiently complete tree cutting tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and safe to operate.
Safely operate chainsaws and other cutting tools to fell, trim, and remove trees as directed.
Navigate and drive the truck to various locations, adhering to all safety and traffic laws.
Follow all safety procedures, including operating safely, using PPE, and complying with OSHA regulations.
Communicate effectively with other team members and coordinate with job site personnel to complete tasks efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including properly disposing of tree debris and waste materials.
Qualifications:
Driver License preferred.
Must have experience in tree cutting and removal operations.
Must be physically able to lift and move heavy objects.
Willing to work in various weather conditions.
Must pass a drug and alcohol test.
