Sr. Accountant

Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to become part of our team. The Sr. Accountant will be accountable for handling cost and pricing analysis, preparing journal entries, and assisting in maintaining the general ledger. The position is based in Wheeling, Illinois, 60090, United States. Responsibilities: Undertaking cost and pricing analysis to ensure accurate financial data Facilitating the month-end close process through the preparation of journal entries Providing support in maintaining the general ledger for financial accuracy Conducting monthly bank account reconciliations for financial clarity Ensuring regular detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts for financial transparency Overseeing Capital Expenditures and Fixed Assets tracking for financial control Generating reports to analyze financial data for decision-making purposes Executing special projects and additional duties as required for operational efficiency Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required Must have expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger management is necessary Ability to make Journal Entries is needed Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary Knowledge of NetSuite software is a plus Proficiency in Oracle software is highly desirable Experience with SAP software is an asset Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
