Provision of individual, family and group therapy for an adult primarily in a behavioral health environment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Master's Degree in related field.

2. If hired after December 1, 2018, must have WV Licensure in field of study, which permits practicing psychotherapy and specifically meets guidelines for commercialpayors. If hired prior toDecember 1, 2018, we encourage staff to work toward terminal licensure in their field.

LGSW, LCSW or LICSW or a temporary Social Work permit and must obtain permanent licensure within the first six

months of employment;OR LPC or provisional licensure certificate;OR

Supervised-Psychologist or Licensed Psychologist;OR

Nurse Practitioner with Advanced Certification in psychiatric nursing.

NOTE: Non-independently licensed therapists must obtain their independent licensure within 3 years of employment

3. West Virginia state and Federal criminal background check required for DHHR WV CARES regulated area

4. Valid driver's license for employees of the Adolescent Services, Day Hospital and ACT.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Advanced certification preferred when applicable.

2. Obtain certification inHeartSaverFirst Aid within 30 days of hire date.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Prior experience in a mental health program preferred.CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Provide psychosocial assessments of patients and families to identify emotional, social, and community strengths and problems related to their diagnosis, illness, treatment, and/or life situation.

Participates as clinical personnel in a treatment area and facilitates therapeutic milieu on the treatment unit, when applicable.

Formulate, develop, and implement comprehensive psychosocial treatment plans utilizing appropriate and evidence based psychotherapy treatments and interventions. Interventions may include crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, marital, family and/or group therapies as well as grief and bereavement work.

Screen, identify, diagnose, treat and manage mental health and/or substance abuse problems in patients and family members. Provide psychotherapy to individuals with a variety of presenting problems For full info follow application link.
