Job Description
THE ROLEDue to growing demand for our consultancy services, we are seeking to recruit a Principal Consultant with a Strong System Implementation background, business analysis, process & data mapping, UAT management, skillsets to join our specialist Turner & Townsend Technology consulting team. The role involves supporting a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions, and we are seeking an individual witha strong track record of delivery of PMO and Controls Systems solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Understand client’s data and systems
- Map out end-to-end data processes and data flow
- Extract and integrate large datasets from multiple sources
- Provide technical expertise in delivering business requirements
- Manage business change activities in line with project delivery which enable adoption of new systems and enhancements
- Manage, in conjunction with the function and business systems, the resolution of system and service problems
- Provide direction of the initiation and subsequent implementation of system improvements that are fit for purpose
- Specify and oversee compliance with the system approval, assurance, governance, and requirements management processes for the digitisation of systems
- Lead the work to ensure clear processes and governance around system administration with focus on the end user experience
- Manage, co-ordinate and validate the upgrade, update, maintenance and utilisation of all systems
- Validate and provide oversight of the technology specification and design to ensure that the resulting outputs are compliant to the requirements and interface specifications
Qualifications
- Experience in procuring and implementing PMO, Programme and Portfolio management systems
- Implementation of Scheduling, Cost, Change, Risk systems eg: Oracle Primavera, Ecosys, Deltek Cobra, Safran, Arm
- Deep understanding of Controls methodologies Consulting and business analysis skills (e.g. MoSCoW method) to understand client’s requirements
- Experience in Agile delivery methodology
- Produce functional and non-functional specification
- Understand and design business intelligence and reporting architecture
- Experience or strong familiarity with ETL and data warehouse implementation
- Ability to develop and present clear and insightful reports to stakeholders
- Experience of the system testing processes, test new systems and upgraded systems so that they correctly validate and verify the business requirements
- Work with clients to develop busines specifications for new or upgraded systems, and specify these to the internal information management team and/or other defined deliverables
- Degree educated or equivalent experience in a technical subject
- Strong analytical skills
