Job description
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials. Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes. Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers.
Qualifications
5 years (or more) of experience in residential construction and remodeling
Related work experience in residential remodeling or construction
Valid driver's license or ability to get to and from work is required
Must be able to lift at least 80 pounds
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Precision craftsmanship and skillset
Detail oriented and driven to succeed
Productivity and high individual work ethic required
Minimum entry level wage and raises are based on individual merit

One needs to be familiar with residential construction and remodeling and be prepared to work in all weather conditions

This position requires heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in nature
Duties
Duties will vary depending on the type of work assigned to crew
Digs, spreads, and shovels dirt and gravel using pick and or shovel
Digs, spreads, and shovels dirt and gravel using pick, post hole diggers, and or shovel
Lifts, carries and holds building materials, tool and supplies
Cleans tools, materials and work areas
Climbs ladders and works from walk planks up to two stories high (safety harnessed)
Mixes, pours and spreads concrete, gravel, and other material using hand tools
Assists Carpenters and Skilled Tradespersons in the performance of other duties as directed
Performs a wide variety of manual tasks
Overtime and occasional Saturday work required on short notice as job contracts deems necessary

Salary: $31,200.00 - $48,150.00 per year
