EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Graduate of School of Surgical Technology.
2. Surgical Technology Certification required within 12 months of hire.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Performs direct and indirect patient care.
Efficiently functions as a member of the surgical team by demonstrating competence in delivery of care and contributing to departmental efficiency.
Assures availability of necessary instruments, equipment and supplies prior to cases to ensure efficient operations of department.
Maintains good interpersonal relationships and communication skills.
Retrieve supplies from Pyxis supply cabinets and follow patient charging procedure.
