EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Valid driver's license with good driving history.CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Provide timely pickup and delivery of all lab supplies and lab packages.

Ensure lab orders are complete and organized prior to delivery.

Collaborate with staff to obtain the correct supplies and paperwork.

Adhere to delivery schedule and reports to the hospital once deliveries are complete.

Perform a daily cleaning of vehicle.

Maintain a vehicle maintenance log.

Monitor periodic maintenance and inspections.

Pick orders, unload trucks, and put supplies away in the stockroom.

Very hard work - exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly.

Frequent standing, lifting, grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking. Must have ability to grasp, stoop, stand, and hold.

May require unsupervised access to restricted areas that may contain medications, supplies and patient confidential information.

Will be required to travel between facilities/buildings.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Dependable.

Good communication skills.

Detail oriented.

Knowledge of shipping and handling requirements.

Excellent all weather driving skills.

Able to find locations based on address using GPS.
