Property Manager/Administrative Superstar position available for a "people-person" at our recently acquired 44-unit apartment complex (Fairmont Village Apartments), across the street from Fairmont State University. The property is under new ownership and has been undergoing renovation. Our grand opening was featured on the evening news with the mayor in attendance.
Now that most of the work is done, we are looking for an outgoing "people person" to join the team and oversee the property Keep it full by providing care for the residents and value for the community. Leasing experience preferred, but not required. No real estate experience required. Generous Compensation, including a bonus incentive for sustained occupancy.
We're looking for a people-person who is very responsible and conscientious. We'll teach you the rest, including our complete system for the role.
Typical duties include:
- showing units and signing leases
- collecting rents and making daily deposits
- taking and managing maintenance requests & coordinating with corporate office
- marketing to fill vacant units
- community involvement
The ideal candidate is an excellent people-person, responsible, organized, possesses high attention to detail, and can follow our systems. You must be comfortable with the Internet and computers. You'll work independently in our leasing office on the property, with support from the corporate office and our Regional Manager.
Compensation is hourly, based on experience. Work five days per week, including some Saturdays.
