Job summary
Responsible for the coordination of agency relations including new agency outreach, monitoring and reporting.
Summary of essential job functions
- Maintain all agency files including current application and appropriate qualifying documentation, assist agencies in the application process,
- Assist team members in establishing new agencies and engagement with existing agencies to expand programs to all areas of our service area.
- Support agencies in maintaining food distribution goals and objectives.
- Promoting nutritional and healthy food initiatives through software designations and education with our partner agencies, and those we serve.
- Maintain and file all agency monthly reports, contact non-compliant agencies and work with Director of Programming and team members in determining suspension status,
- Monitor all agencies initially, regularly (per contractual guidelines) and when a new agency leadership is established,
- Visit agencies to resolve problems and investigate complaints,
- Act as a liaison between agencies and State Department of Agriculture, provide advice and problem resolution,
- Participate and/or coordinate in statistical data gathering as needed,
- Maintain compliance with the Feeding America member contract and Federal and State regulations and guidelines, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field of work or volunteering especially food safety and capacity to work with agencies to ensure compliance with record keeping and food safety requirements.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to travel frequently for monitoring visits (no overnight travel is required)
Knowledge of MS Office and Excel; capacity to learn inventory management software
Knowledge of USDA programs & rules and regulations preferred
Abilities required
Must be able to work on multiple projects at one time, communicate effectively with diverse populations, directors, community leaders, employees, and funding source(s) representatives, ability to show compassion and appreciation for hunger issues, accurate data entry skills. Highly developed customer service skills and experience required. Must be able to comply with Department of Transportation requirements for usage of FHFB vehicle,

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
