Southern Ohio Steel Fabrication Shop is seeking a motivated General Laborer. In this role, you will receive steel materials, organize steel production, operate forklifts and overhead cranes, and load trucks.
Specific duties may include:
Maintaining clean and efficient work areas
Pulling/picking of steel materials and staging for production
Unloading/receiving all deliveries
Performing loading or unloading duties as assigned on a daily basis
Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
Operating forklifts and overhead canes safely and responsibly
Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner
Delivery functions including unloading and staging of product as assigned
Performing all duties safely
Specific qualifications include:
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Previous experience is preferred
Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently
Steel Fabrication shop experience is a plus
Positive attitude and team player
