Mechanical Engineer

Lead safety engineering activities through safety procedure, proper PPE, and environmental aspectOptimizing the utilization of technicians / operators and develop their skills in order to efficiently and effectively execute the PM program for plant continuous improvement which complies with local law and company guidelines for both operation equipment and facilities.Assist technician for equipment trouble shooting and diagnosing breakdown problems and developing RCA to prevent recurrence issues.Accountabilities:Zero recordable in PM execution and regular check on area PM to ensure safety awarenessDevelop good understanding among production operators in PM tasks and identify opportunities for improvement in PM scheduling.Responsible for the training and development of technicians and operators including the establishment of performance standards and upgrade, according to skillProvides inputs to the store room for quantity of spare parts & critical tooling to be stocked to sustain the PM program.Responsible to ensure that all jobs are done and control the quality of performed work during PM.Coordinate with production team leader for problem solving and waste reduction to meet the standards agreed for each machine.Monitor maintenance cost for stock items on production equipment.Work on Engineering Job Order related to equipment troubleshooting and short-term repair for production equipment.Work closely with maintenance planner for scheduling planned and unplanned work.Work closely with Team Leaders to ensure equipment availability kept high and production operators take ownership of routine (small) maintenance activities like settings, changeovers, simple breakdowns.Develop maintenance task in related to the new equipment with project engineering department.
