Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Information and Communications is responsible for promoting the Davis & Elkins College athletics programs through video streaming, social media, web, and various other platforms and processing necessary requirements for the NCAA, CoSIDA, and the Mountain East Conference and Great Midwest Athletic Conference in regard to preseason information, statistical reporting, and post season honors.
The successful candidate will communicate regularly with media outlets, alumni, fans, student-athletes, and campus members regularly and participate on various university, conference, and national committees, and/or other special assignments as necessary.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience in intercollegiate athletics administration required. A master’s degree and statistical recording and writing experience preferred.
Other job duties as appropriately assigned.
