Associate Cybersecurity Analyst, Intern - Ashburn, VA

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Intern who will work with a world class cybersecurity team to learn what it takes to maintain secure networks and systems, drive industry and corporate security awareness.  Working with Senior and Junior cohorts, this position will work with different teams, such as investigations, vulnerability management, cyber engineering, and security architecture to track and respond to threats in the industry, brief staff, advise on enhancements, and aid internal product & security operations. The individual needs to have cybersecurity basic knowledge, excellent communications, and a desire to learn.Responsibilities include:Utilizing security tools assist in monitoring and analyzing security events and incidents,Support the Applied Cryptography Operations team in managing non-production HSMs and encryption devicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of security requirementsSupport Vulnerability Management teams in tracking and reporting of system vulnerabilitiesPerform other tasks and projects as assigned by the Security Operations team
