Lever Action Excavation LLC is currently seeking an equipment operator. The candidate must be a team player who can work in a fast-paced environment and be able to concentrate and remain aware of their surroundings in the face of distractions. Our projects consist of, but are not limited to, job site preparation which includes setting up, digging, grading and backfilling areas.
Operator Requirements include but are not limited to:
Have at least 5 years experience operating Excavators, Front End Loaders, Graders, Rollers, Water Trucks.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have a reliable mode of transportation.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks, (must be able to lift at least 50 lbs)
Must be able to shovel/rake gravel.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Workers must be punctual and reliable.
May have to pass a background check for Federal jobsite employment.
Other Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Operating equipment in a safe manner, also ensuring proper maintenance of machinery.
Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles used to transport it.
Inspecting equipment before and after use to ensure its in good working order.
Reading grade stakes, following site grading and operations plans.
Utilizing equipment effectively every day, regardless of the weather or the surface.
Adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
Monitoring performance and adjusting settings as required to perform tasks correctly.
