Property Management company is looking for an experienced maintenance tech with the capability to perform & manage the overall upkeep and maintenance on 150+ units including residential and commercial.
The ideal applicant will have experience in a variety of maintenance repairs, a customer-based attitude and efficient time management. Experience in full remodels would be a major bonus! Flooring replacement, dry wall repairs and fixture replacements are common. An experienced maintenance tech can complete basic property repairs properly and/or efficiently troubleshoot and work with local contractors as needed.
Full carpentry duties required but not limited to:
- installing/removing flooring of all types
- drywall repairs
- interior prep and painting (exterior painting is a bonus)
- basic plumbing repairs
- basic electrical repairs
- basic appliance repairs
- trouble shoot specialty items and effectively work with local contractors
Exterior duties but not limited to:
- snow removal
- mowing/weed removal
- general landscape repairs
- maintenance repairs such as windows, doors, siding, gutters, roofs, etc.
We are fully aware that some specialty items will require other local contractors who specialize in specific areas such as roofing, glass replacements, appliances, etc.
This position requires a personality that is customer based, reliable, honest and has the ability to prioritize & multitask. Duct tape and bandages won’t work here! Tools and company phone provided. Must provide your own reliable vehicle.
This position will be responsible in responding to any emergency-level maintenance requests 24/7 (extremely low & rare).
