Job Scope: Perform daily, weekly, and seasonal maintenance requirements for the building with safety, cleanliness, and appearance always in mind. This includes knowing how to maintenance a pool, dry & steam saunas, and hot tub (can be trained). Duties may involve welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.
Responsibilities:
Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings
Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion
Order and replace broken parts, custodial necessities, or equipment
Maintain a clean and a safe work space
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them using the process of elimination, repair manuals, etc.
Communicate with General Manager and all pertaining departments on the status of equipment and projects
Perform other duties, as assigned
Oversight of groundskeeper, night cleaning crew, and day time custodian
Up keep and de-scaling of steam rooms 2x/month
Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
High school diploma
CPR certified
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or willingness to get certified immediately
Basic computer skills
Excellent customer service
Proven ability to maintain open, honest, and positive relations with employees and customers
Ability to be on call
Must have dependable transportation
Must be in good health in order to meet the physical demands on the job
Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to handle physical workload
