DCS Therapeutic Massage has an immediate opening for a Washington State Licensed Massage Therapist.

We offer a calm, clean environment with wonderful consistent patients. Onsite laundry, hydraulic tables, ADA accessibility, a flexible schedule with valuable knowledge and guidance from other experienced bodyworkers in the office.

DCS Therapeutic Massage is a medical massage clinic with a focus on patient care. We help those who deal with pain, associated with physical injury or chronic conditions; through effective therapeutic massage treatment. We officer billing services in house for some medical insurances, labor and industries, and personal injury claims. Our clinic is a collaboration of multiple bodywork providers who take pride in our patient care. We work closely with other local clinics to help our patients achieve their health and pain goals.

Job Descriptions and essential functions:

1. Responsible for providing quality medically based massage therapy services to patients of DCS Therapeutic Massage in accordance with Washington State Law.

2. Take a detailed patient medical history, setting clear expectations and goals noting any health conditions.

3. Assess patients for soft tissue conditions including range of motion and muscle strength testing.

4. Provide patients with guidance and information about massage techniques, stretching, strengthening, techniques for postural improvements and self care as needed.

5. Be able to perform a quality 60-120 minute deep tissue massage and be available for up to 5 hours of treatment per day.

6. Customer Service: You are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions you may have.

7. Answering of phones and returning calls.

8. Patient scheduling, sending reminders via text or email, check in and out using computer software.

9. Electronic Chart Noting

10. Safeguard of patient information and confidentiality. (Certification course for HIPAA can be obtained from Employer and will require a 1 hour class)

11. Laundry: including use of machines, folding, and stocking, may require lifting up to 35 lbs

12. Maintaining cleanliness of treatment space, common areas, and equipment.

13. Maintain a high standard of self. This should include confidence in the care you provide while maintaining professional roles and boundaries. Personal hygiene, regular attendance and timeliness

Pay: $35.00- $45.00 per treatment hour based on experience and insurance networking. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, on-call, incentives and bonuses.

Washington State paid time off and sick leave.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, and one or more Saturday per month.
