Posted Position: This Material Handler role is critical for Van Doren Sales to support our Inventory and Production teams. On a daily basis you will be moving materials and inventory products within our facility allowing others to efficiently fabricate parts, assemblies, and equipment for fruit processing and conveyance. To be successful in the role, this person must be self-driven, motivated and able to follow detailed instructions. In this position, you report directly to the Inventory Control Manager. Responsibilities for Material Handler:
Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
Move materials to and from internal departments, loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing
areas
Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory accuracy
Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them
Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight
Perform and report cycle counts
Ability to lift and mange weights up to 50lbs
Crate materials
Keep facility and workspace organized
Preferred skills:
Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management software
Software competency
Forklift Certification
