The Parks and Recreation Division is seeking seasonal parks caretakers to join a team dedicated to providing beautiful places and quality recreation opportunities that enrich the well-being of our community.These are permanent seasonal positions that may be required to work weekends and will begin work on March 1stThere are currently two (2) positions open:Yakima City Parks & Recreation - scheduled to work from March October from 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (summer 6:00 AM -2:30 PM)Tahoma Cemetery - scheduled to work from March November from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (summer 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must be at least 16 and have reliable transportation. Must have 6 months experience with lawn, grounds maintenance, and/or custodial work. Must pass background investigation regarding applicant's aptitude, character, judgement, credit, driving record and criminal history.LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND/OR CERTIFICATES:

The pay range listed for this position is establish through the City of Yakima's Master Pay Ordinance in accordance with the Municipal Code and/or the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
