PROFILE OF COMPANY:

Gray & Osborne has provided professional engineering services to public agencies throughout Washington State since 1935. We specialize in the planning, design, and construction management of water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, and utility systems. We have a talented and motivated staff that is well respected in the municipal civil engineering community.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary responsibilities including providing construction inspection on a project-to-project basis for municipal construction projects in various locations in Eastern Washington. In 2023, work is expected to include projects in the Soap Lake, Ephrata, Quincy, Mattawa, and Grand Coulee areas. Duties include field observation, verifying conformance with plans and specifications, preparing documentation, and facilitating communication between the contractor, owner, and engineer. Construction projects may include roadway or utility projects. Work is anticipated to be seasonal with projects typically occurring from Spring through late Fall each year.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

5+ years' experience in water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, or transportation construction or inspection

Experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Able to work well with others in a collaborative manner.

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $30/hr - $42/hr, depending upon experience.
