Westwind Organics is a 200+ acre certified organic commercial vegetable farm in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley, located in NW Washington state. We grow over 30 different types of vegetables with a heavy emphasis on lettuce, broccoli, bunched greens, cabbage, celery, and winter storage crops. We operate with the highest principles of sustainability for the planet, people, and profit. Family-owned farm that has been in business since 1995.
Primary responsibilities:
Oversee green house, crop production, harvest, and packing operations for quality and performance
Provide proper training for all crews regularly
Manage, coordinate, and communicate daily with crews and management
Ensure high quality standards are achieved
Analyze farming practices to optimize yields
Create a positive, fair, and respectful work environment
Develop systems to optimize efficiency
Required skills:
Good communication skills
Good leadership skills

Driven self-starter
Ability to prioritize and accomplish important tasks in a timely manner
Ability to keep and maintain records
Required knowledge & experience:
Agricultural Experience: 5 years
Farm Management Experience: 2 years
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Proficient in using Microsoft 365
Preferences:
Organic vegetable crop experience
Passion for farming
Schedule:
Monday through Saturday (May thru November)
Monday through Friday (December thru April)
