Provide-A-Ride has an immediate opening for an outgoing individual who enjoys working with the elderly and people with disabilities. Our ideal applicant will have a positive attitude, be a team-player, reliable and responsible. Drivers need to be well groomed and possess excellent customer service skills.
Our drivers are responsible for operating service vehicles that provide safe, courteous, and reliable transportation for non-emergency medical appointments. Daily vehicle inspections, maintenance and record keeping.
Applicants must be at least 25 years of age, have a clean driving record, pass an extensive background check and pre-employment drug screening. Applicants must also be able to sit for long hours and be physically capable of assisting someone who is in a wheelchair in and out of a vehicle. Must have the ability to receive/print emails and send/receive text messages.
This position is part-time with possible full and overtime hours. The hours include evenings, Saturdays and holidays as well as alternating on call hours. Compensation is dependent on experience. Please respond with letter of interest and resume. No CDL required.
