Posted Position: This shop technician role is critical for Van Doren Sales to support our customers and to maintain our position as the market leader. On a daily basis you will be working with your hands keeping the shop in order, fabricating parts, assemblies, and equipment for fruit processing and conveyance. To be successful in the role, this person must be self-driven, motivated and able to follow detailed instructions. In this position, your duties will vary, but you are ready to start a career and a 401(k) savings plan.
Requirements for this position:
Experience in welding, metal assembly, print reading, and measuring
Positive attitude and willingness to work alone or in a team setting
Self-motivated and driven to always improve your craft
A solid work-ethic
Preferred skills:
Have a strong mechanical aptitude
Basic computer skills
