About the Position:
Yonder Cider and The Source Cider are two rapidly growing cider companies located in Wenatchee, Washington. We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator with at least one year of recent forklift experience to join our team immediately. If you're interested in joining a busy and productive team in an ever changing production environment, this role is for you! This is a full time, hourly position with an estimated schedule of 8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri (may shift depending on production schedule) with potential to work overtime.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently; initially pass company forklift certification training, and keep certification current, per company requirements.
- Organize and prepare materials (apples, bins, IBCs, cans, etc) for movement, per production schedule.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Keep spaces clean and organized.
- Assist with inventory and documentation related to shipping and receiving.
- Perform standard upkeep procedures for forklift; immediately report any safety concerns to operations manager.
- Assist with forklift preventative maintenance, as able.
- Work cooperatively within and across departments.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform basic math functions (add; subtract; multiply; divide) and read/understand SOPs/calendars/spreadsheets to follow production schedule, truck deliveries, press operations, safety policies, and work instructions.
- Minimum of one year of recent forklift experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment with a production schedule. Current certification is not required to apply; the candidate will need to successfully complete the company's forklift certification class.
- Ability to timely move materials in a safe and efficient manner, per assigned schedule. Requires excellent time management and organization skills.
- Must be extremely safety-minded; be willing and able to comply with all safety rules and PPE requirements, including wearing a seatbelt.
- Must be willing and available to work flexible schedule and overtime.
- Willing to follow and enforce all in-house safety protocols, including COVID policies.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

- Cidery, brewery or related production experience preferred
- Ability to work safely and efficiently

- Willingness to work a flexible schedule (general schedule of Monday-Friday)

Schedule:
Start and end times may vary; estimated schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, but flexibility needed due to shifting production schedule; overtime may be required.
Compensation:
$19 per hour, with review after six months
