Animal Hospital of Wenatchee is seeking an enthusiastic and positive person to join our team as a part-time to full-time Veterinary Technician or Assistant.
Animal Hospital of Wenatchee is a state of the art, full-service veterinary medical facility located in the heart of Washington State. We provide complete care from routine vaccines to advanced orthopedic surgery. Our clinic offers in-house laboratory equipment, digital x-ray, dentistry, ultrasound, as well as surgical and therapeutic lasers. We are a fun group of highly skilled individuals who encourage teammates to continue learning and growing, in a positive and supportive environment.
Priority will be given for candidates with experience in the veterinary field and/or currently licensed as a veterinary technician (LVT). Candidate must have excellent communication skills, acute attention to detail, be a self-starter, and a team player. Responsibilities will include; providing technical assistance to the veterinarians, interacting and communicating with the pet owner, safe and compassionate handling of patients, lab sample collection and processing, radiology assistance, maintaining computer medical records, and more.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to be active for a majority of the workday. We are open Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
