Our group of well-established hospitality businesses is looking for a new Public & Employee Relations Manager to help lead us in the next steps of our growth. This is a full time position located in beautiful Leavenworth, WA. Our mix of restaurants, real estate, and ecommerce requires a skilled, adaptable individual who can work as part of a team, yet efficiently manage daily tasks.
Some of the responsibilities of this multifaceted position would include (these are not all inclusive):
Ensures that employees follow company policies and procedures.
Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures;
Audit Employee Timekeeping for Effective Payroll Administration
New Hire Onboarding and Orientation.
Assist with Recruitment of new staff.
Address HR Issues on site.
Manage the positive image & reputation of Adler Group businesses as directed by ownership/management through media opportunities, networking engagements, customer interactions, and community outreach
Utilize social media formats to present the vision for each business, as well as a cohesive vision for all businesses, as directed by ownership/management
Develop effective advertising designs/campaigns (print, digital, and other formats) including brochures, websites, advertisements for 3rd party guides and pamphlets, and explore other options for marketing.
Contribute ideas for consistent improvement of customer experience, ticket averages, and general betterment of Adler Group businesses
Use computer software such as CANVA, Google Docs, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, as well as familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Google Business Suites
Front Line IT Support for Restaurants relating to MobileBytes, 7Shifts, Microsoft Windows, iPad devices, payment terminals, and telephony. Responsible for escalating technical support to appropriate parties if necessary.
Write & disseminate job postings for all Adler Group businesses as directed by ownership/management
Prepare & issue technology (laptops, devices, etc.) to employees as directed by ownership/management.
Act as representative of admin staff in some cases to direct lower/restaurant-level employees in tasks or procedures on the behalf of ownership/management.
Assist with file-keeping tasks for the Adler Group Office as needed.
Answer email & text correspondence in a timely manner from coworkers, subordinates, and management/ownership.
Maintain a timecard record of daily activities for payroll submission.
Any tasks or duties that may be required by ownership/management for the good of the business.
To be successful in this position, ideal candidates would have the following prerequisites and characteristics:
Independent, self-motivated thinker.
Strong leadership and communications skills.
2+ years experience as an Office Manager in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, medical or retail environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Office
Knowledge of 7Shifts, MobileBytes, & OpenTable preferred
Understanding/Experience of Marketing with a grasp of social media and communications
Bilingual preferred.
