We are looking for positive self-starters with strong sales and customer service skills, who are flexible and love working in a team environment. Hospitality, sales, and wine knowledge are preferred but not required. Hourly pay is $16-$19 DOE. Tips and commission are substantial, bringing total compensation to an average of $30-$50 per hour.
—RESPONSIBILITIES—
Provide excellent and professional customer service, with an emphasis on creating customer loyalty and retention.
Perform daily tasting room duties: conduct tastings, restock wine, wipe down tables, bus and wash glasses, etc.
Understand and exceed sales monthly goals.
Build long-lasting relationships with the wine community and wine industry, acting as a brand Ambassador.
Work with all Departments including winery and private events.
Understand POS programs to process sales and shipping orders.
Other duties, as assigned.
–APPLICANTS MUST HAVE—
A great attitude.
Previous tasting room, customer service, and sales experience preferred but not required.
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Be 21 years of age or over.
Lift 40 pounds.
Be on your feet for long periods of time.
Be energetic, accountable, and team-oriented.
Maintain appropriate professional dress and personal hygiene standards.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
