Culinary Department Structure: At Siren Song Vineyard Estate and Winery, we believe food paired with wine is a great way to make your way through a tasting or dining experience. At Siren Song, we offer a variety of European-style menu items, artisan pizzas, food, and wine pairings, and hand-crafted desserts. We make everything in-house from scratch daily with a focus on innovation and quality.

To support our culinary objectives, our culinary department is structured in the classic tradition of great kitchens around the world. Our position availability is designed to start or grow your career and is guided by our Executive Chef, General Manager and Kitchen Manager

Salary Range: $(DOE) + Tips

Entry Level Cook III to Experience Line Cook: The perfect place to begin or expand your culinary career. If you have spent time in restaurants and want to expand your world of cooking this is the opportunity for you. Job functions within this role include:

Expectations:

● Proficiency in producing basic prep items (examples: washing and cutting romaine, making pizza dough, cooking sausage, slicing prosciutto).

● Able to work dish washing in an effective, efficient, and organized manner. ● Able to set up and prep for service all stations. ● Able to execute all menu items to Siren Song standards regardless of business demand, staffing, and circumstance. ● Has basic knowledge of menu items and procedures and is able to answer simple culinary questions. ● Can uphold food safety and employee standards for themselves.

Responsibilities: ● Assist in prep work prior to service. ● Keep dry storage, walk-in, freezers, and line clean, stocked, and organized. ● Prepare kitchen for service. ● Execute menu items in a timely manner to the standards of Siren Song.

● Help maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
