Coffee Shop Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Side Street Cashmere is looking for a creative & experienced coffee shop manager to facilitate our new shop “Gaucho Coffee” from the ground up.
The Side Street is a community & arts focused adaptive reuse project in downtown Cashmere. Gaucho Coffee is one of the twenty businesses planned for our 60,000sf block.
We are looking for the right person who can create a thriving culture in this multifunctional space. The shop is truly unique and adjoins a live music venue, cider taproom and large retail space. We envision a cozy spot where our community can connect, afford, & enjoy a delicious daily cup of coffee.
Requirements:
-Coffee industry management experience.
-Creative and open mind to help execute our unique vision.
-Mind for business operational processes, sales analysis & budgeting.
-An outgoing, customer service oriented personality!
-Ability to envision opportunities for events & collaborations within the space.
-Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
Duties: The shop is in the final stages of construction, with a Grand Opening set for early summer.
Prior to Grand Opening you will be responsible for laying the operational groundwork for the shop. From sourcing consumables within a set budget, to outlining the day to day operational processes, hiring needs, employee duties, assisting in menu development, etc.
Post Grand Opening you will be responsible for typical shop managerial duties such as:
-Staffing & training.
-Scheduling.
-Managing supplies and consumables.
-Managing special events and building collaborations.
Compensation & Hours: Starting asap!
This is a full time position, at least 32 hours per week. Weekend availability is a must.
Starting at $22/hour, depending on experience.
Possible future profit sharing arrangement for the right person.
