Mozart’s Restaurant is nestled in the Bavarian-themed Village of Leavenworth, WA, and we are looking for an Assistant Front of House Manager for the team to help fulfill our vision of “Inspired Austrian Cuisine in an Elevated Setting”. This is a full time position.
Some of the duties you will be performing as assistant FOH Manager would include:
● Assist with management and supervision of Front of House activities
● Greeting & serving restaurant customers in a kind, courteous, hospitable manner.
● Enforce and offer the best possible service, and hold other FOH employees to the same standards.
● Operate & understand Point-of-Sale System, and train FOH employees on usage when necessary.
● Operate with a firm understanding of product knowledge (menu, ingredients, preparation) especially pertaining to assist customers with special dietary needs.
● Ensure all stations are stocked and supplied to restaurant standards
● Actively be aware of waste reduction techniques and coach employees on them.
● Rectify arising problems or complaints from customers & staff - maintaining efficient communication with all stakeholders
● Assist FOH manager with day-to-day management duties and responsibilities as tasked
● Be a steward of the restaurant's good image and successfully promote & publicize the brand when possible
● Assess quality control of food and address issues when they arise.
● Answer to Owner, Administration Staff, and FOH Manager.
● Perform all duties with honesty and integrity, acting as a positive agent of the company.
● Follow company rules as stated in the handbook
● Fulfill side work, opening, operating and closing duties, and any other requested tasks to management approval
Experience in a similar position would be a plus; however, a strong work ethic & willingness to learn would be just as valuable for success in this opportunity.
Starting pay for this position is $18.50 + Tips - and with direct deposit, you can get paid weekly! In addition, this position features a comprehensive benefit package, including:
