After School Learning Center has TA positions 3:15 - 6:15 pm. Ideal for college student.
Lesson plans are written for you. You will be listening to young readers, helping them learn how to correct their errors without giving away the answers. You will be supervising kids doing math, assisting and giving hints and strategies. A teacher will be nearby to help you whenever you need. You will make sure kids keep on task, tally up their points, and assist them in buying prizes with their point rewards.
It's fun, engaging work. You'll need to be good with kids and have an excellent work ethic. You'll be expected to dress professionally, show up on time, leave your phone in a drawer, and interact with the kids. If you are interested, please give us a call. We will follow up on your academic skills to be sure you're qualified in reading, writing, and math.
