Operations Assistant
Location: Wenatchee, WA
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 32–36 hours/week (occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Compensation: Hourly, DOE | Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave

Position Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on Operations Assistant to help run our Fresh Hope Market and ReFind Furniture Ministry. This role blends physical work with meaningful client interaction, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
You’ll be responsible for:
Managing daily operations of the Fresh Hope Market
Coordinating furniture donations and distribution through ReFind
Supporting client intake and referrals
Assisting with events, cleaning, and general office duties
Providing Spanish translation and cross-training across departments
This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), but it’s also deeply rewarding—offering the chance to make a real impact in people’s lives
Key Responsibilities:
Fresh Hope Market
Track and report food donations
Pick up and stock food/non-food items
Maintain inventory and monthly data
ReFind Furniture Ministry
Receive and organize furniture donations
Assist clients with furniture selection
Client Intake Support
Conduct interviews and determine service eligibility
Make referrals to local agencies
Answer and return phone calls
General Duties
Clean and maintain office space
Support event setup and teardown
Transport supplies and assist with warehouse inventory
Provide Spanish translation and cross-train with other roles
Qualifications
Passion for Serve Wenatchee’s mission and values
Strong multitasking and interpersonal skills
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
Willingness to follow directions and work collaboratively
Valid driver’s license with clean record
Experience driving a truck pulling a trailer
Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently
Bilingual in Spanish (writing skills preferred)
Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain)
Commitment to SWV’s Code of Civil
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly wage: DOE, paid biweekly
