A large agricultural cooperative is looking for a general manager.
Qualifications include 5-year experience as a company or corporate manager. Strong background in agriculture or agricultural equipment and supplies preferred. Must maintain a professional appearance.
Job Duties: Directly responsible to a board of directors. Must set up and attend monthly meetings with the board of directors to review monthly performance and profitability of all sales departments. Make recommendations to the board of directors regarding long and short-term plans, goals, sales, and equipment needs.
Job requirements: Ability to work with managers and employees. Hire, train, supervise, and monitor the performance of all department managers. Participate in monthly and annual forecast of sales, expenses, and profits of all sales departments. Ensure that department managers understand policies, procedures and ensure that all appropriate records are maintained. Oversee and maintain inventories of all sales departments. Organize and oversee annual financial audit. Address customer and employee complaints. Oversee employee training and safety meetings.
