Hurst Construction is a Heavy Civil Contractor based out of East Wenatchee seeking a full-time construction payroll and payables specialist.
Essential Functions & Technical Requirements
- Oversees and produces payables and payroll for a Civil Construction Company with 40+ employees
- Must be organized, good communicator, positive attitude, detail orientated, and timely.
- Computer competent with Construction accounting software background and proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
- Position includes responsibility for payroll processing, accrual accounting, tracking & updating invoices, account reconciliations, payroll taxes, employee benefits & insurance.
- Must be able to develop Excel spreadsheets, manage lien waivers, prepare, and upload certified payroll.
- Applicants must be team players, self-sufficient, highly motivated, detail-orientated, drugfree,
and have the ability to take charge and make decisions.
- Prefer accounting or bookkeeping education or a minimum 3 years of construction accounting experience.
