DescriptionPeaceHealth is seeking a Manager, Central Staffing & Timekeeping Office, supporting the Columbia Network/Southwest Washington. This remote role requires the incumbent to reside in OR, WA or AK by date of hire.The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $42.23 – $63.35. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.Job SummaryManages the coordination of the Central Staffing office for their assigned network, including costs, methods, and staffing. Responsible for operational performance, quality, service environment and regulatory compliance. Receives assignment in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides leadership and resource management functions for centralized staff scheduling functions; continually improves service and operations to ensure that safe, reliable and high-quality care and patient experiences are provided; ensures scheduling services are coordinated.Essential Functions

Manages daily operations including staff supervision and monitoring and prioritizing workflow. Manages the selection, training, development, discipline and evaluation of assigned staff.

Works closely with leadership throughout their assigned network to maximize operational efficiencies and meet capital and operating budget goals. Participates in operational planning and implementation of organizational strategic plans and ensures overall operational performance.

Monitors nursing quality dashboard, low census, and all staffing resources and tools.

Budgets development and accountability for all operational departments assigned, ensuring all financial performance measures are met.

Monitors, supports and manages upgrades to the operational and functional aspects of department specific software.

Manages, evaluates and implements changes to workflow and processes in all areas of operational lead.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and professional experience that provides the incumbent with the requisite knowledge, skills and ability to successfully perform the job.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years experience with staffing/scheduling in a healthcare environment.

Minimum of 2 years leadership experience.

Experience with scheduling and/or timekeeping within a collective bargaining agreement environment preferred.

Working knowledge of staff scheduling and payroll programs preferred.

Experience with collective bargaining units preferred.

Previous experience working with clinical teams preferred.

Skills

Ability to deliver financial results for areas of accountability.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent critical thinking skills.

Ability to work effectively, respectfully and responsibility in a collaborative manner with multiple demands and short timelines.

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Demonstrated leadership ability.

Knowledge and experience in developing programs preferred.

Demonstrated success in operations management and financial management preferred.
