DescriptionPeaceHealth is seeking a Human Experience Educator for a Limited Duration position, lasting up to 6 monthsThe Human Experience Educator completes the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of complex human performance experiences and solutions for caregiver, provider and leadership development learning programs. Consults and collaborates with key stakeholders on leader and caregiver human performance improvement needs to achieve strategic goals and initiatives. Partners with leaders, program managers, caregivers, analysts, and other learning professionals to design and deliver standardized human performance solutions and learning programs for a wide variety of audiences addressing leader, individual and team performance and accountabilities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Completes the analysis, design, development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of complex human performance solutions and learning programs that provide engaging experiences using PeaceHealth standards, processes, and templates. Measures and compares results to desired outcomes and objectives.

Completes performance analysis to identify gaps and root causes of caregiver, provider, and leader performance gaps. Collaborates with operational leadership to identify and apply the appropriate intervention.

Applies human performance technology methodologies (such as Lean, organizational development, instructional technology, virtual development, and current learning principles) to increase caregiver, provider, and leader performance and effectiveness.

Applies leading adult learning theory for best practices and methodologies to design, develop, implement, and maintain all human performance solutions’ collateral, which may include facilitator and producer materials, solution and program materials, job aids, e-learning materials, and documentation procedures using standardized human performance and PeaceHealth tools and templates.

Utilizes ROI methodology and evaluations to align caregiver and leader solutions with business strategies and objectives; identifies and secures leadership accountabilities for the programs; and measures and compares results to desired outcomes and objectives.

Conducts education and training demonstrating best practices in contemporary teaching strategies and learning modalities.

Develops and implements Train the Trainer programs for other roles, super users, preceptors, and support services’ caregivers.

Supports and coordinates system and network program implementation through collaboration with learning professionals and key stakeholders to optimize impact of the learning initiative.

Mentors facilitators and other learning professionals to improve knowledge and skills. Provides structured learning experiences for face-to-face, virtual, hybrid and blended classrooms or e-learning modules. Creates impactful experiential learning experiences for effective knowledge transfer.

Educates caregivers, providers, and leaders in utilizing educational standards, workflow, adult learning principals, face-to-face, virtual, hybrid and blended classroom facilitation, materials supporting programs and solutions, e-learning, and validation techniques as measured by metrics.

Assists in the coordination of training logistics (courses, classrooms, registrations, timeframes, etc.) in collaboration with the other members of the team and operational leaders.

Networks with other learning functions, operational departments, clinics, and leadership to promote sharing, collaboration, and development of standard intervention solutions and learning programs in support of organizational strategies to meet strategic goals.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience.

Master's Degree preferred: Education, Instructional Design, Performance Improvement or related area.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years required: Training experience, preferably in healthcare.

Experience with large scale technology implementation development.

Preferred: Experience in instructional design and development of web-based and e-learning and virtual learning.

Preferred: Experience in e-learning development in common tools, such as Captivate.

Preferred: Experience in a large or multi-campus healthcare organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Knowledgeable in the use and application of ROI and Human Performance Technology to Learning and Development.

Project management skills.

Proficiency in adult learning theory. Motivation, and development

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with projection equipment and/or webinar technology.

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time across PeaceHealth facilities and locations.

Flexible schedule.

Preferred: Proficient in e-learning applications (such as Adobe Captivate).

Preferred: Proficient in virtual learning facilitation and production.

Preferred: Technical training development, eLearning development tools, and learning management systems.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $33.23 – $49.85 . PeaceHealth requires a completed Primary Vaccine Series (e.g., 2 dose monovalent Pfizer, Moderna or Novavax series or 1 dose J&J vaccine series) or be Up to Date (receiving the most recent Pfizer/Moderna bivalent vaccine/booster) for COVID-19 vaccination prior to their start date.
