This will be a hybrid role based out of the Banfield Pet Hospital headquarters in Vancouver, WA. Salary Range: $169,371 - $232,885 (DOE)Summary and Qualifications: Partner with the Divisional Vice President(s), SOLT, and VP Operational Finance by contributing expert financial and analytical knowledge for the development and implementation of business strategy, resulting in delivery of the OGSM and operational excellence in hospital performance across the Practice.Focus on significant issues critical to the organization’s success, including developing key business strategies, labor, performance management of key operational KPIs and forecast design and development.Support leading team of Finance Managers to deliver expert performance analyses and insights; interfacing with Central Team Support (CTS) leadership; participating on cross-functional CTS project teams; and working closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to develop forecasts, targets, and practice-level insights.Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
Diagnose performance concerns/opportunities within the division to identify root cause, offering effective and holistic insights and solutions.
Drive financial evaluation and performance management of Fleet Management strategy for the Practice.
Provide direct coaching and consultation to the Divisional Vice Presidents to build and develop greater financial capability.
Analyze, benchmark, guide and react, where applicable, to financial and operational metrics to drive results. Analyze region/market margin performance by service/product type.
Ensure continuous development and enhancement of financial tools to support the success of field leadership.
Assess revenue growth opportunities including when, where and how to invest.
Manage communication flow and deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers of the Operational Finance Manager Team.
Support practice-level initiatives and functional projects to understand and shape financial impact to hospitals and practice.
Partner and provide support in all areas of total Practice Hospital OGSM delivery.
Act as representative and decision maker in absence of VP of Operational Finance when necessary.

Special Working Conditions:
Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.

Experience, Education and/or Training:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance is required, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Master’s degree is preferred.
10 years of experience in Finance and Operations are required.
Five years of experience as a financial, or similar functional, analyst generating analysis and communicating insights in presentations to various levels of the organization are required.
Experience with project or team work interacting with business executives is required.
Diverse career experiences (both within and outside of Finance & Operations) are preferred.
