DescriptionProvider Solutions & Development (PS&D), an entity of Providence St Joseph Health, is the national market leader for best-in-class physician and provider recruitment services.Provider Solutions & Development at Providence is calling a Manager Provider Recruitment who will:
Manage and participate in Physician, Medical Executive leadership, and Residency faculty and Program Director recruitment activities across the system in partnership with other Physician Services and Development leaders
Take a lead in Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner recruitment activities
Lead and develop high performing staff who support the recruitment of multiple physician and provider specialties, with a system-wide scope
Extend employment brand through recruitment and the associated support services for the highest quality, mission-inspired medical staff
Seek to improve and deliver processes, outcomes, and customer evaluation of PS&D
Essential Functions:
Manage development and recruitment of staff for all functional areas. Measure performance and productivity, take action to improve results as needed, and provide recognition and support to staff
Develop capabilities of recruitment and support staff, building on individual interests, skills, and competencies. With an eye on retention and succession, create environment of continuous learning, improvement, and development. Develop business plans and direct various projects related to physician recruitment, physician support services and operational excellence aligning with service line leaders and regional medical group team needs across the system and all business partners
Oversee and participate in necessary contract negotiations and business agreements. Participate in strategic planning, oversee development of PS&D functional responsibilities and lead planning and implementing and orchestrating of strategic plans
Shape recruitment and recruiting service philosophy and consult on physician development/recruitment plans throughout region. Responsible for strategic development of mechanisms to ensure a continual pipeline of high quality, excellent physicians joining employed medical groups
Prepares and adheres to budget for accountable cost center(s)
Work with senior leaders, physicians and others to articulate and implement strategies. Direct various projects related to physician recruitment, network and physician support services development and operational excellence
Recruit, train, and manage staff as part of ongoing staffing strategy. Design and manage implementation of recruitment services plans to ensure a continual pipeline of high quality, excellent trained physicians and providers for hospitals and clinics in assigned regions
Effectively balance standardization and efficiency of operations with creative solutions. Work with partners, stakeholders and PS&D leadership to understand, calibrate and exceed expectations. Manage provider recruitment services staff located across geographic regions; ensure cooperative, collaborative or team approaches are utilized as appropriate to accomplish objectives and provide a supportive work environment. Promote and exhibit sensitivity and respect for diverse cultural and religious beliefs and directly supports and advocates for hiring a diverse workforce
