Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a Quality Manager Superintendent – RQSO FAA Liaison and Quality Manual Administration (Level M) in support of the Regulatory and Quality System Oversight (RQSO) team in Puget Sound (Everett, Renton, or Tukwila, WA) or Boeing South Carolina (North Charleston, SC) .The ideal candidate will be a reliable and competent professional who possess the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational and business unit boundaries. The candidate will be a strategic problem solver who relies heavily on data and analysis to drive decisions and a leader who can effectively implement solutions in an ever-evolving environment.Transformational leadership skills will be necessary to build team engagement and lead quality team members in implementing key initiatives including One Boeing Production System, Control Plan/Defect Reduction and Lean Manufacturing. Management and oversight of employees and managers performing activities across multiple job families and locations.

Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

Develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers, both direct-report and dotted-line.

Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

Facilitates standardization and the adoption of best practices for FAA Liaison Organization, including Supplier Quality Regulatory Affairs and QMS network.

Provides education and coaching on the BCA Quality Management System (QMS), FAA regulatory requirements, PC700 compliance and Safety Management System (SMS) integration.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with the FAA and key stakeholders, including the Quality Operations Council (QOC); Global Compliance; Regulatory Administration; Safety, Certification & Quality Integration (SCQI); BCA Programs; Supply Chain and Legal Department.

Interacts with senior leaders and executives concerning matters of significance to the company.

Leads organization with primary responsibility for FAA Liaison and Quality System oversight activities, including FAA inquiries, audits, case management, voluntary disclosures, investigations and FAA approval of BCA Quality Manual and PC700 writings.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

10+ years of Quality Management System (QMS) experience.

5+ years of experience leading production system and/or process improvements.

5+ years of experienceleading systematic problem solving.

5+ years of experience interfacing with the FAA and/or other certification regulatory agencies.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Proficiency with Boeing Production System processes and applications, including Continuing Operational Safety Program (COSP); In-Service Investigations (ISI); Supplier Quality Information System (SQIS), Flight Squawks; Corrective Action Records (CAR); and Material Review Board (MRB).

Ability to navigate and interpret production drawings, engineering specifications, work instructions and command media.
