Travel will also include Roseburg & Pendleton Oregon.Primarily responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and overseeing the activities and personnel of the receiving, inventory, and distribution functions for a given division (multiple markets). Accountability for the division’s performance to key operating metrics. Leads market level supply chain resources and leverages key relationships within facilities, and across markets, to implement CSH supply chain operating strategies within the division. This position will maintain a cost effective, efficient, reliable, and resilient materials system to ensure that necessary supplies are available at each facility when and where they are needed, and that they are appropriately accounted for in our financial systems. Additionally, this position will be the accountable supply chain leader for alignment of our operations across multiple markets, responsible for owning executive and key stakeholder relationships – at both the facility and market level.
Forges successful relationships with market and facility executives, key department leaders, and adjacent stakeholders to influence the facilities and markets within their scope to optimize supply chain value and operating margin.
Accountable for the division performance on key operational performance indicators.
Optimizes the total cost of ownership for the supply chain including supply expense, labor, and other operating expenses related to supply chain activity across the division.
Ensures department complies with established standard operating procedures, policies, quality assurance programs, safety, environmental, and infection control policies and procedures.
Selects, orientates, assigns, and evaluates market level department staff.
Manages department to national SSRM operating standards of performance, making operational and personnel decisions to achieve desired performance.
Promotes improvement efforts throughout the organization to streamline processes, optimize financial performance, and identify areas of general inefficiency.
Ensures department goals and objectives help to carry out the organization’s strategic plan, philosophy, and vision.
Qualifications
Master's Degree required; Minimum 10 years healthcare / supply chain experience, and 7 years leadership experience may be considered in-place of advanced degree.
Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Supply Chain within a healthcare facility system or other relevant experience
Established leadership skills
Knowledge of coaching and mentoring best practices
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Access, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to influence and motivate others in order to achieve targets within a determined time period
Ability to prepare quick pointed summaries for executives and stakeholders
Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
Team management and/or project management preferred. Change Management and Leadership (LEAD) experience required within first year. Incumbents in this job will be grandfathered into educational requirements.
