Job Title: Door Shop WorkerJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Door Shop Worker to join our team in the door shop, where you will be involved in the finishing process of doors. This role requires physical strength as you will be lifting and staging doors weighing between 50 to 60 pounds. You will also operate a forklift to move staged doors. This position offers room for growth, allowing you to advance to more technical roles involving power tools and assembly work.Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve work problems.

Work with a team to create and build products.

Palletize and prepare finished orders for shipment.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Enact company policies and abide by safety regulations.

Read and understand orders as received.

Assemble pre-fabricated doors to meet work order specifications.

Review all finished goods to ensure accuracy and quality of construction.

Use power tools such as mills, saws, and joiners.

Use pneumatic tools such as nail guns.

Essential Skills

Ability to perform all job functions safely.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to read a tape measurer accurately and consistently to 1/16”.

Ability to read and interpret verbal instructions, diagrams, and documents.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1 year of experience with hand and power tools (preferred).

Military experience preferred.

Consistent work history.
