We are seeking a driven Kennel Assistant to help us care for our hospital and patients. This position is perfect for someone who is looking for experience, likes working in a fast-paced environment and pays close attention to detail. Your role:
Support and assist the janitorial team in maintaining a clean hospital
Ensuring kennels, and cages are cleaned
Cleaning treatment and ward areas after use
Ensuring laundry is done and maintained
Ensuring food and water dishes are washed
Stocking treatment, ward and kennel areas
Assisting Veterinary Assistants and Technicians as needed
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Who you are:
Experience in the veterinary field preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Great communication skills
Compassionate, reliable, detail oriented, dependable, trustworthy
Availability:
ER Operates 7 days/wk, 24 hours, 365 days/year
Surgery Operated 5 days/wk
Shifts may vary weekly depending on need
Benefits:
Hourly pay range- $16.00 - $20.00 depending on experience
Night differential paid for any hours worked within 6pm-6am
Monday- Thursday $3/hr
Friday-Sunday $5/hr
