The Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of tasks to assist in all aspects of maintenance operationsPrimary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Assisting other maintenance technicians with day to day tasksGoing to various locations to pick up or drop off parts for equipmentMoving vehicles to and from other facilities for routine maintenancePerform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipmentPerform maintenance on trailers, tractors, tankers and other various equipmentBe able to rebuild/ Repair pumps and gearboxesKeep a clean and pristine work area at all timesWear proper PPE as required for the task being performedHave the ability to perform minor metal fabrication as needed on equipmentBe able to utilize Welding equipment and use the appropriate PPE for the task.Able to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and work unsupervised at times.Utilizing a forklift in standard operations in the maintenance area.Have knowledge on hydraulic/PTO systems used on tractors/ Trailers.Performs other tasks as assigned
